Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Xavier Prosper, a sole proprietorship (entrepreneur individuel, micro-entreprise) established in France, SIREN 810 038 315, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.
What we collect, and why
Private beta sign-up: your email address and, if you choose to answer, how you prospect today. We use them to contact you about the beta and to understand your needs. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.
Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical information (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the service secure and running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in securing the site.
Audience measurement: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookie and keeps no IP address: visits are counted through an anonymous identifier that is discarded after 24 hours, and only aggregated statistics are kept. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
Using houq: once you use the product, we process your account details, the contacts you import and the messages sent from your inbox, only to provide the service you asked for. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
How long we keep it
Beta sign-ups: until the end of the private beta, then 12 months at most, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Technical data: for the short period set by our hosting provider.
Product data: for as long as your account is open. It is deleted within 30 days after you close your account, after giving you the chance to export it.
Who receives it
Your data is only accessed by the publisher and by the service providers we rely on, each acting on our instructions: Vercel (website hosting and audience measurement), Resend (delivery of the sign-up notification email), Google (the publisher's mailbox, and the Gmail API when you connect your inbox to houq) and Supabase (product database, hosted in the EU).
We never sell your data. We never use it to train AI models.
Transfers outside the European Union
Product data is stored in the European Union. Vercel, Resend and Google are based in the United States: when data passes through their services, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, reach us on X at @XavierProsper.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie, only when you pick a language, to remember your choice. No tracking or advertising cookies are used, and audience measurement works without cookies.
